Who we are
Technology is our trade. Your business is our starting point.
Systemah is an IT consultancy and services partner. Our core work is software and apps, integration and automation, practical AI, data and insights, and cyber security — making the systems a business already has work together and do more of the work. Alongside it, we provide the everyday IT that keeps everything running: support, Microsoft 365, IT strategy, websites and cloud.
What makes us different is the order we work in. We understand how your business works first, then choose the technology. It sounds obvious. In our experience, it's rare.

01 / Our story
Twenty years on both sides of the decision.
Systemah is built on experience from both sides of the table: running technology inside businesses, and designing and delivering it. We've worked in business operations and enterprise technology since 2005.
Much of that time was spent on the client side — running multi-site systems in healthcare. We saw first-hand which technology decisions worked and which didn't, and kept the business running through the workarounds and compromises in between.
The lesson was always the same. The technology usually worked. What failed was everything around it: processes nobody had agreed, systems that didn't talk to each other, and people quietly filling the gaps by hand.
Now we sit on the other side of the table — and those lessons shape how we work: understand the business first, build the connections properly, and stay on to support what we build.

Lessons learned on the business side, built into how we deliver.
Business first. Technology second. Always.
02 / How we're different
Same work. A different way of doing it.
Many IT providers offer similar services. The difference is in where the work starts, who it answers to, and what you're left with afterwards.
| Topic | Typical approach | Systemah |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | A product, package or price list | How your business actually works — before any product is mentioned |
| Advice | Often shaped by vendor partnerships and commission | Independent. Paid by you in fees only, so nothing shapes it except what fits |
| Diagnosis | Fixes the problem exactly as described | Separates symptoms from causes — and says so when the real problem is a different one |
| Your existing tools | Replaced with something new | Used to the full first — new software only where it earns its place |
| Automation | Automates the process as it is, flaws included | Simplifies the process first, then automates what’s left |
| Delivery | Advice from one firm, build by another, support by a third | One partner advises, builds and supports — with one contact who knows your business |
| Pricing | Estimates that grow as the work goes on | Clear written quotes, agreed before work starts and fixed wherever the scope allows |
| Afterwards | Undocumented, hard to leave, long contracts | Documented and handed over, with short notice periods agreed up front |
03 / What we believe
If you're not satisfied, neither are we.
A client isn't a transaction that closes. It's a relationship that either works or doesn't — and we judge our work by how your business runs afterwards.
01
Your outcome is the measure
Not hours billed or features shipped. Success is a business that runs better than it did before.
02
We stay until it works
If something we recommended isn’t working as it should, we’ll say so and help put it right.
03
Long-term over quick wins
We’d rather build a relationship over years than sell a single project.
04 / How we think
What hurts isn't always what's broken.
Patterns we meet often enough to expect. Not rules — yours may be the exception — but a fair picture of why we ask questions before we quote.
What we hear
“We’re drowning in admin.”
What we often find
Three systems hold overlapping data, and a person has quietly become the integration between them.
What we hear
“We need a new CRM.”
What we often find
Two departments disagree about who owns the customer record — and no platform settles that for you.
What we hear
“The reporting is always wrong.”
What we often find
Two teams define the same number differently, and both are right inside their own process.
What we hear
“Nobody uses the tool we bought.”
What we often find
It encodes a process that never worked on paper either.
What we hear
“We should be using AI.”
What we often find
Usually true — but the first win is the one repetitive task that eats the most hours, not a platform.
What we hear
“Everything breaks when we grow.”
What we often find
The set-up was designed for a business half the size and never revisited.
05 / Take the next step
Good to meet you.
The first conversation is free and there's no obligation. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so — and point you to someone who is.
